Student's Council

The Student’s Council of Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Ara serves as a dynamic and integral body representing the voice of students. It promotes leadership, participation, and cooperation among students, ensuring their active involvement in academic, cultural, and developmental activities. The Council works as a connecting link between students and the administration.

Objectives of the Student’s Council

To develop leadership qualities, teamwork, and responsibility among students.
To represent student concerns and suggestions to the administration.
To promote participation in academics, culture, sports, and community outreach.
To uphold discipline, harmony, and a positive campus environment.
To assist in organizing college programmes and student welfare activities.
To inspire students to contribute to social and community development.

Functions of the Student’s Council

Organizing events such as cultural programmes, talent shows, competitions, etc.
Coordinating festivals, national celebrations, and important college events.
Assisting in seminars, workshops, awareness drives, and orientation programmes.
Supporting administrative tasks during admissions and examinations (as assigned).
Maintaining discipline and ensuring student participation in campus activities.
Working with NSS, Women Cell, Anti-Ragging Cell, and other committees.

Maintaining discipline and smooth functioning of campus activities.

Role in Institutional Development

The Student’s Council plays a crucial role in enhancing the institutional quality by fostering student participation, leadership, and overall engagement. It strengthens the student–administration relationship and contributes to a harmonious and academically vibrant campus.
