College Development Committee (CDC)

As per UGC Guidelines & Higher Education Governance Framework

The College Development Committee (CDC) is constituted as per the guidelines of Higher Education governance to ensure effective planning, academic growth, infrastructural development, and overall institutional progress. The CDC plays a vital role in policy framing, quality enhancement, evaluation, and monitoring of all academic and administrative activities of the college.

Functions of the CDC

To prepare an overall comprehensive development plan of the college regarding academic, administrative, and infrastructural growth.
To determine short-term and long-term goals of the institution.
To recommend new academic programs, skill-based courses, and value-added initiatives.
To encourage research, innovation, collaborations, and quality enhancement initiatives.
To approve annual budget, financial plans, and infrastructural requirements.
To review student welfare programs, extension activities, and community services.
To monitor the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) activities and NAAC-related work.

Meeting Frequency

The College Development Committee shall meet at least **twice a year**, and more frequently if required, to plan, review, and monitor the academic and administrative progress of the institution.
