General Rules & Regulations
Guidelines for Discipline, Academic Conduct, and Campus Behavior
1. Attendance Rules
- Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in every subject.
- Medical and genuine absences must be reported with valid proof.
- Shortage of attendance may lead to the denial of exam eligibility.
2. Conduct & Discipline
- Students must maintain courteous behavior towards faculty, staff, and peers.
- Any form of physical or verbal abuse is strictly prohibited.
- Dress modestly and appropriately within campus.
- Mobile phones should be used responsibly and avoided during lectures.
3. Academic Integrity
- Plagiarism, copying, or cheating during examinations is prohibited.
- Assignments must be submitted on time and should be original.
- Tampering with institutional records will result in strict action.
4. Campus Etiquette
- Keep the campus clean and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Respect classrooms, laboratories, library, and all college property.
- Loitering in corridors during lecture hours is not allowed.
5. Anti-Ragging Guidelines
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited as per UGC guidelines.
- Any involvement in ragging will attract severe disciplinary action.
- Students must report incidents to the Anti-Ragging Cell immediately.
6. Use of College Facilities
- Library books must be returned within the due date.
- Laboratory equipment should be handled with care.
- Misuse of computing facilities or internet resources is strictly prohibited.
7. Disciplinary Action
- Any violation of rules may lead to warnings, fines, or suspension.
- Severe cases may be referred to the Discipline Committee.
- Repeated misconduct will result in strict penalties.
